At https://livecasinoplay.net, I spend a lot of time thinking about how visual first impressions either pull people in or lose them, so this call for cover art caught my eye immediately. The tip about reviewing past issues for tone is a good one—it’s easy to go wild with other-worldly imagery and forget that the cover still needs to feel like part of the journal’s ongoing story. I’ve learned that a clear theme like that actually frees up creativity rather than limiting it, so I’m curious to see what artists send in.
I read the post and it’s really exciting how it invites artists to share their creative work and be part of something that values imagination and unique ideas. It made me think about how important it is to have spaces where creativity is welcomed and supported.
